What is Yoga?

Yoga is an ancient Eastern practice. Its purpose is to strengthen the mind and body with a view to achieving inner peace. It has developed over the course of about 3,000 years.

With practise, Yoga can help focus the mind and body. It can increase your general vitality and well-being.

Who can practise Yoga?

Yoga is for everyone. It does not matter what your age, race, religion or gender. Yoga is is a combination of physical exercise, science and philosophy. However, it is not just any one of these.

Because the word “Yoga” covers a range of things, there are no fixed rules. Instead, Yoga is more like a set of values or guidelines. At the end of the day, it is up to each person practising Yoga to decide how much to dedicate to its practise. As with most things in life, the more you put in, the more you will get out of it.

Can Yoga help illness?
